TANGO RACING TEAM #42 racing at the 1st 4h VRS vVLN Endurance Race

Our car TANGO RACING #42 driven by Alberto Díaz (Spain) and Bernhard Gehberger (Austria) compete in the 1st 4h VRS vVLN Endurance Race at the Nürburgring Combined VLN Layout Friday, 14th of February 2020.

Bernhard Gehberger qualified with our Ferrari 488 GT3 on P5 out of 21 cars in GT3 class. After a very clean start and first stint Alberto Díaz continued from P5 and completed a double stint without any mistakes. Bernhard Gehberger continued with another long double stint until a final slpash and dash taking fuel for one last lap when we had to defense our P3 against P4 Jens Wirtgen in a potentially faster car with better tires. We managed to finish on podium P3 followed by Jens Wirtgen with with only 1 second.

We consider a podium finish at this high level vVLN race series a huge success for our small private run team and feel honored to be part of the interview session following the race.
